As the political climate here in the United States has yet been friendly for foreigners, even vacationing for business related matters, we've decided to proceed with an online festival on February of 2026.
It's our deepest regret to have such a rough start on our second year, as the Los Angeles FanFilm Awards, but we wish our filmmakers and international community to stay safe. So the following will be our new operation, until further notice:
- Trophies will be assembled by our Winners
- Winners of Los Angeles FanFilm Awards will have their trophy shipped either from a nearby dealer (in their respective country or other, to avoid tariff issues), or will be reimbursed in purchasing their own medieval wooden long sword -- please send receipt, if item is purchased;
- Each winning category only gets one trophy -- we will not reimburse anymore;
- Confirmation tags will be mailed to each winner -- one with their title, and the other with a serial number that's published on our site, to confirm registry.
- FanFilms will be published on our YouTube playlist, which is distributed to a number of sites under the brand of Los Angeles Anti-bully Society -- INCLUDING:
- Winners
- Honorable Mentions (no trophy)
- Finalists will have their FanFilm screened, followed by an interview panel immediately after, online.
- Unlimited number of people may speak at the panel
- Only those who've participated in the production of the screened FanFilm may speak at the panel
- ADMISSION IS FREE
- FanFilm Awards will be screened online only, and so no admission fee will be charged.
- Please RSVP to receive the link to the event (share the link with anyone you'd like!)
We hope to see you at the event, and thank everyone for their support in this annual film festival.
Cheers!
